What to do when Facebook ads are no longer working EP. 1
(don't do this)
What to do when Facebook ads are not working EP. 1
When it comes to running Facebook ads, often when you see lower performance days, the best course of action is to do nothing…
Let me show you how it works:
When you’re running Facebook ads, you’ll see some days that are performing really well, and some days are decent and some days when ads are not performing at all.
Performance typically gets more consistent as you scale.
So when running ads you want to look at trends and make sure you give ads enough time and conversion to prove themselves.
At Adsora, we have systems for decision-making…
Such as when to turn off ads, and how much time and ad spend is required before scaling or killing and ad, ad set or campaign.
These systems and rules allow us to maximize profits, and get enough data to be sure in our decisions.
It’s pretty technical but to simplify it to two rules, we want to give ads at least 3 to 4 days and 1x to 2x of your average 7-day ad account cost per sale in ad spend.
So the first thing when the ads stop performing, you have to look at the time variable.
Compare the data to the previous period/week/year. Look at trends.
Because one, two or three days of worse performance, can likely mean that the next days will be better!
This just one thing you have to look at when ads stop working.
I’ll keep this short and come back with more things sometime in the coming weeks.
