But really, the first thing you’d have to actually check is if the funnel is working fine.
Click on your ad, and do the action you’re optimizing for. Go through the customer’s journey. So if you’re in eComm, do a test order. If you’re in lead gen, do a form submission and go through the next steps.
Try to see if there’s anything strange going on.
Side note: you have to do it from your mobile phone first because most of your customers will be on their phones.
If everything is good, check recent changes or current A/B tests running.
Try to find patterns of changes to the website to changes to performance.
